Japan’s ENEOS said it is considering the partial halt of its ethylene production facility at its Kawasaki refinery at the end of 2027 due to falling demand. 

  • The steam cracker at the facility is able to produce 515,000 mt/year of ethylene and 300,000 mt/year of propylene.
