Kazakhstan's Karachaganak Field Stopped for Maintenance Sep 12 - Oct 6

Crude production at the Karachaganak field in Kazakhstan will be suspended from next week until October for maintenance according to the countries Energy Ministry.

  • "There are plans to halt oil production at Karachaganak for planned maintenance at the field from September 12 to October 6," the ministry said.
  • The CPC crude loading schedule for September has been revised significantly lower from 5.15m tons to 3.997m tons according to Bloomberg due to field maintenance and two moorings out of action on the CPC pipeline.
