Kazakhstan's Oil Exports Down 4% This Year

Kazakhstan produced 61.9 million tonnes of oil in January-September, down 1% from the same period last year.

  • Over the same period, crude exports fell 4% to 46.8 million tonnes. Exports from Kazakhstan have been hit by numerous issues at the CPC terminal this year, most recently two out of three moorings have been suspended.
  • A handful of the countries largest oilfields have also faced production issues for planned maintenance.
