Kazakhstan To Extend 1.2mn t Oil Supply Deal to Germany to 2024

Kazakhstan plans to supply 1.2 million metric tons of oil to Germany via the Russian Druzhba pipeline in 2024, Kazakh state pipeline operator KazTransOil said.

  • As of the end of June, Kazakhstan has shipped 290,000 tons of oil to Germany.
  • The country is planning to ship 100,000t of oil to Germany this month.
  • Kazakhstan plans do also ship 1.2mn tons of oil to Germany in 2023. There have been talks that there is an agreement to extend the deal until 2024, sources said earlier this month.
