Keystone Pipeline Still Operating Under Reduced Pressure

TC Energy said that the Keystone pipeline is still operating under reduced pressure after a December 2022 oil spill on its latest earnings call.

  • There was no mention of a timeline for a return to pre-spill pressure levels.
  • The company has been delivering all contracted volumes despite lower pressure.
  • Crude oil volumes transported on the Marketlink pipeline – connecting Cushing, Okla., to the US Gulf Coast - increased in the second half of 2023, after it completed a connection to one of the US’s largest refineries TC Energy said.
