Kremlin May Block Twitter For 1 Month If Banned Content Not Removed-TASS

RUSSIA

State news agency TASS reporting that according to a senior official, Russia could ban Twitter in the country for up to a month if banned content is not removed.

  • Last week, state authorities blocked the use of the website on all mobile devices and half of desktop devices for the same issue of not removing banned content. Issue was, while throttling access to Twitter, this also took the services of the Kremlin, State Duma, Yandex, and YouTube down.
