Investment-grade corporate credit risk holds near session lows in late trade Tuesday, modest reversal from Monday's new 2-year highs.

  • Investment grade risk measured by Markit's CDXIG5 index currently -2.012 at 80.878; CDXHY5 high yield index at 102.216 (+.351).
  • Outperforming credit sectors (tighter or least wide): Energy (-3.7), Communications (-3.0), Health Care (-2.7).
  • Lagging sectors (wider or least narrow): Utilities and Financials Senior (-1.4) followed by Consumer Discretionary (-1.8).
