Latest Poll Shows 54% Of Brazilians Support Bolsonaro Impeachment

  • (Reuters) - According to a survey by Datafolha released on Saturday, 54% of Brazilians support a proposed move by the country's lower house to open impeachment proceedings against Bolsonaro.
    • This is the first time a majority of Brazilians support impeachment, amid serious graft allegations related to vaccine procurement.
  • President Bolsonaro said, without providing evidence, that Brazil's highest electoral authorities stole votes in previous elections and will do it again in the 2022 presidential contest unless congress approves his proposal to reintroduce paper ballots. (Bloomberg)
