Libya Oil Exports Fall in May: Bloomberg

Libya’s observed crude and condensate shipments fell 5% in May after climbing to an 18-month high in April, Bloomberg said.

  • Libya loaded 1.11m b/d in May, compared to 1.17m b/d in April. This is the second highest monthly loading since Sep 2022, Bloomberg data showed.
  • By terminal, 283,871 b/d loaded from Es Sider, 202,258 b/d from Zawiya, 161,290 from Hariga, 135,484 b/d from Ras Lanuf, and 112,903 b/d from Mellitah.
  • Italy remains the largest outlet for Libyan crude exports, up 73k b/d on the month to 513k b/d.
