Libyan Crude Flows to Europe Sinking

Europe is being hit by a lack of Libyan crude availability. European imports of Libyan crude and condensates have dropped by 140kbd m-o-m in June and 400kbd below April – the highest month in 2022 for Libyan exports according to Vortexa.

  • Europe has instead been turning towards West African grades this month. European imports of West African sweet crude saw a significant increase in June so far, sitting at two-year highs at 1.1mbd.
