Libyan Production Slips at Least 400kbd Since Recent Order

Libyan crude production has fallen at least 400kbd since the eastern government ordered a total shutdown according to Bloomberg sources.

  • Libya had been producing at around 1.2mn bpd for the past year.
  • Oil reaching Ras Lanuf terminal has dropped by at least 130k b/d the sources added.
  • The Sharara field, the nations biggest, had already been shut ahead of the recent order.
