Light Bid On Delivery Of Expected Chinese Property Support

EQUITIES

The delivery of the widely expected support for the Chinese property market has provided a relatively modest bid for benchmark global equity index futures, although the moves are fairly contained owing to widely held expectation for such a step.

  • U.S. data then provided some brief and very limited headwinds, before the bid resumed, as the mixed batch of data is assessed.
  • S&P 500 e-minis move to the highest level since August 10, as the pre-NY bid extends, with bulls now looking to 4,560.75 the August 4 high.
  • Euro STOXX 50 futures see incremental fresh session highs but remain shy of yesterday’s high.
