Little Reaction As PMI Ticks Lower, Card Spending Falls

There has been little reaction in the Kiwi as Business NZ PMI ticked lower to 45.3 in September. This was the lowest print since August 2021. Card Spending fell 0.1% M/M in September, the prior read was revised lower to 0.8% M/M from 0.9%.

  • NZD/USD sits at $0.5925/30, little changed from opening levels.
  • AUD/NZD is also unchanged from opening levels a touch above $1.0650.
