BOND SUMMARY: Little to write home so far, nothing new on the news wires to move
the risk needle either way. T-Notes hold a tight range and last trade +0-03+ at
137-13. Cash U.S. Tsy yields generally sit a tad lower, while Eurodollars trade
unch. to -1.0 tick through the reds.
- JGB futures reopened higher and last sit at 151.77, a dozen ticks above
settlement. Cash yields are lower across the curve. Japan released its earnings
figures, which fell less than expected. Flash machine tool orders & an auction
of 6-Month Bills are due later today.
- Australia returns from a long weekend, with YM unch. & XM +2.75. Cash yields
are little changed across the curve. Bills last seen -1 to +1 tick through the
reds. There are two ACBG auctions coming up today: 2.0% 21 Aug '35 I'L Bond will
be offered at the bottom of the hour & 0.25% 21 Nov '24 Bond will be auctioned
at the top of the hour. ANZ job ads & NAB Biz. Confidence are also due today.
