Local News: Copa America Decision To Be Made Today

  • Reports circulated that Brazil had been named Copa America host with the 2021 tournament moving to Brazil just 13 days before the tournament was due to kick off after Argentina were dropped as hosts on Sunday.
    • However, Chief of Staff Luiz Eduardo Ramos told reporters in Brasilia that "there's nothing settled and I want to point out very clearly that we are in the middle of the process".
    • A final decision is expected to be announced today.
