USD/INR is marginally softer in early dealing on Tuesday, consolidating below 82 in a narrow range as broader greenback trends dominate.

  • On the downside bears target the 200-Day EMA at 81.50. Bulls look to break the 20-Day EMA (82.19) to turn the tide.
  • Foreign investors' inflows into Indian equities continued with $24.29mn on Friday bringing the total in June to date to $3.287bn.
  • A reminder that the data calendar is light with just Q1 BoP Current Account Balance on the wires which is due between today and month end.
