Markets Generally Looking Through Chinese Trade Data

Nothing in the way of meaningful reaction in T-Notes, e-mini S&P 500 futures & USD/CNH in the wake of the release of the latest round of monthly Chinese trade data. As a reminder, China saw a narrower than expected trade surplus in USD terms in the month of May, with exports missing broader expectations by a wider margin that imports. The CNY side of the data saw a slightly wider than expected trade surplus, with exports missing broader expectations by a slimmer margin than imports.
