Markets Mixed, But Alltime Highs Still Within Reach

European indices are mixed ahead of NY hours, with UK's FTSE-100 and Spain's IBEX-35 modestly higher while core Europe lags slightly. In US futures space, markets are slightly lower as prices retreat slightly from alltime highs posted earlier in the week. This keeps yesterday's highs of 3677.50 as the achievable first upside target. Any downside in the e-mini S&P today eyes the week's lows of 3592.25 and the 50-dma beyond at 3460.36.

Across Europe, consumer discretionary and tech names are leading losses, while utilities and communications services are holding up.
