Markets Trim CAD Net Short, While NZD Position Pulls Off Recent High

Little change in EUR positioning in the most recent CFTC CoT report, which remains the largest net long position among CCYs surveyed at 28.5% of open interest.

Markets trimmed the CAD net short, reducing the net short position to -17k contracts from -27k. GBP net position also gained, but remains off recent highs.

Speculators moved against the JPY and NZD, with the net position trimmed by around 6% of OI for each currency, although largest net short remains the CAD at 12.6% of OI.
