May Start Receiving EU Funds In August/September

  • Poland may start receiving EUR funds in August/September according to Law & Justice Secretary General Krzysztof Sobolewski.
  • Government’s plan to grant creditors option for 4-month pause in repaying zloty mortgages in both 2022 and 2023, regardless of financial situation of households, should be narrowed only to borrowers in dire conditions after interest-rate hikes, Polish central bank says in opinion on draft regulations (BBG).
  • EURPLN continues to trade between the 4.60 support and its 200DMA at 4.62. Support to watch on downside stands at 4.5250. On the topside, resistance to watch above 4.62 stands at 4.6380 (100DMA).
