Mexico's Pemex increased its oil production to an average of 1.904 million bpd in April from 1.878 million in March according to Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador.
- Pemex has struggled to keep its output stable due to aging oil fields and infrastructure.
- US imports of Mexican crude oil, which have been stable this year, may taper off after Pemex raised prices for the oil it sells to its customers.
- Jan.-April Mexico exported ~680k b/d crude to US, up from average of 661k b/d last year, according to Kpler.
