CHINA PRESS: Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto will visit China to discuss
possible trade and economic cooperation with China amid U.S. President Donald
Trump's threat to scrap the North American Free Trade Agreement, Reuters
reported Monday. China is interested in negotiating a free-trade agreement with
Mexico, said China Vice Commerce Minister Wang Shouwen on Monday at the BRICS
summit in Xiamen, Fujiang. Other than Mexico, the observer countries to the
BRICS group include Thailand, Egypt, Guinea and Tajikistan. The BRICS countries
are considering expanding the bloc with new members under a "BRICS Plus" plan.
