  • Mid-September inflation is seen easing from the prior read, according to economists surveyed by Bloomberg. Additionally, July economic activity is scheduled. All data is due to be released at 1300BST/0700ET:

    • Sept. Bi-Weekly CPI Y/y, est. 4.47%, prior 4.60%
    • Sept. Bi- Weekly Core CPI, est. 0.25%, prior 0.08%
    • Sept. Bi-Weekly Core CPI Y/y, est. 5.75%, prior 5.96%
    • July Economic Activity IGAE M/m, est. 0.26%, prior 0.48%
    • July Economic Activity IGAE Y/y, est. 3.60%, prior 4.11%
  • Foreign Affairs Minister Alicia Barcena will hold a press conference on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
  • As highlighted yesterday, Cemex SAB is in talks with banks to refinance its $3 billion credit facility. The company has been seeking to raise its debt rating to investment grade after S&P Global Inc cut it to junk in 2009.(BBG)
