DOLLAR-YEN: Mild risk appetite into Asia helped to lift USD/JPY to an early
high, the move aided in part by a firmer opening in the Nikkei. However, early
rally met headwind resistance at and above the Y108.70 level, traders having
noted this interest in recent sessions, adding that stronger resistance noted
into Y109.00. Rate backed off to Y108.56 into early Europe, currently trading
around Y108.60. Support seen at Y108.50, stronger interest suggested into
Y108.30.
