Missile Tests Continue

NORTH KOREA

Japanese media outlets have flagged as many as three North Korean (potential ballistic) missile launches early today, which have already fallen (one outside of Japan’s EEZ, with assumptions that the other two have done the same). This comes after the country fired an intercontinental ballistic missile over the weekend, which reportedly had the capability of reaching the U.S. mainland, triggering aerial drills from the U.S., South Korea & Japan. Kim Yo Jong, sister of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, has followed up with a couple of warnings to the U.S., with the most recent noting that the actions of the U.S. will determine how often the state uses the Pacific as a “shooting range.”
