Mixed Weather Forecasts Maintain Strong US Prices

US Natgas holding steady on mixed weather forecasts and stable flows.

    • US Natgas DEC 22 down -0.6% at 7.27$/mmbtu
  • Prices have remained largely unchanged in the last couple of days on thin trading volumes due to the US holiday.
  • Weather forecasts are still showing cold across the central and western areas in the 6-14 day period with above normal temperatures expected in the east. Current domestic consumption is estimated near normal at 79.35bcf/d.
  • Lower 48 dry gas production has edged higher this week up to 102.2bcf/d.
  • Deliveries to LNG export terminals are today estimated back up to 11.7bcf/d after dipping slightly lower over the last couple of days. Exports to Mexico remain around 6bcf/d.
