JAPAN: MNI 5 THINGS: Japan July Machine Orders Post 1st Rise in 3 Mos
- Japan's core machinery orders, which exclude volatile orders for power
generation equipment and ships, rose 11.0% on month in July, the first m/m rise
in three months and a fall of 8.8% in June, data released by the Cabinet Office
Thursday showed, indicating demand for capital investment hasn't been affected
by uncertainties caused by the U.S.-China trade dispute.
