AUSSIE 3-YR TECHS: (M18) Pressure Back On Key Supports
*RES 4: 97.935 - High Mar 15
*RES 3: 97.934 - 200-DMA
*RES 2: 97.910 - High Mar 28
*RES 1: 97.860 - Hourly resistance Apr 3
*PRICE: 97.835 @ 2130GMT
*SUP 1: 97.825 - Low Mar 26
*SUP 2: 97.810 - Hourly support Mar 23
*SUP 3: 97.745 - Low Mar 21
*SUP 4: 97.705 - 2018 Low Jan 31
*COMMENTARY: Topside hesitation ahead of the 97.910-98.015 resistance region
where the 200-DMA, bear channel top and key WMAs are situated has taken its toll
with pressure back on 97.810-825. Bears continue to look for a close below this
region to reconfirm dominance and shift focus back to 97.690-745 where 2018 lows
are located. Bulls now need a close above 97.860 to gain breathing room and
above 98.015 to shift initial focus to 98.110-130.
AUSSIE 10-YR TECHS: (M18) Capped Ahead Of 100-WMA
*RES 4: 97.5000 - High Dec 8
*RES 3: 97.4664 - 100-WMA
*RES 2: 97.4400 - 2018 High Apr 3
*RES 1: 97.4000 - Hourly resistance Apr 3
*PRICE: 97.3900 @ 2130GMT
*SUP 1: 97.3550 - High Mar 23 now support
*SUP 2: 97.2942 - 200-DMA
*SUP 3: 97.2750 - Alternating hourly support/resistance
*SUP 4: 97.2089 - 55-DMA
*COMMENTARY: Topside follow through has been lacking on fresh 2018 & 3mth highs
which increases the risk of a correction when combined with daily studies at O/B
levels and daily momentum divergence noted. Bears look for a close below 97.3550
to ease bullish pressure and shift focus back to 97.1750-2942 where key DMAs are
situated. Bulls focus on 97.5000-5200 while 97.3550 supports.
US 10-YR FUTURE TECHS: (M18) 120-11 & 55-DMA Key Supports
*RES 4: 122-17+ 21-WMA
*RES 3: 122-04+ 100-DMA
*RES 2: 122-02 Monthly High Feb 6
*RES 1: 121-12 High Apr 3
*PRICE: 120-28 @ 2130GMT
*SUP 1: 120-22+ 55-DMA
*SUP 2: 120-11 Low Mar 26 & 27
*SUP 3: 120-03 Low Mar 22
*SUP 4: 119-21+ Repeated Daily lows Feb
*COMMENTARY: Bulls take comfort in the 55-DMA supporting and focus currently on
122-02/17+ where key DMA and WMAs are situated. O/B daily studies and the
Bollinger top (121-06+) are key concerns for bulls with potential to limit
follow through. Bears need a close below the 55-DMA to gain breathing room and
below 120-11 to confirm a break of the 21-DMA (120-14+) & shift focus back to
119-14/21+.
US 10-YR YIELD TECHS: 2.815 Resistance Key
*RES 4: 2.859 - High Mar 27
*RES 3: 2.815 - Low Mar 26
*RES 2: 2.799 - Hourly support Mar 27 now resistance
*RES 1: 2.797 - 55-DMA
*PRICE: 2.781 @ 2130GMT
*SUP 1: 2.717 - Low Apr 2
*SUP 2: 2.648 - Monthly Low Feb 6
*SUP 3: 2.619 - 100-DMA
*SUP 4: 2.609 - Low Jan 24
*COMMENTARY: Having gained traction below the 55-DMA the bounce Tuesday was less
than ideal as daily studies approach O/S levels. Bulls continue to look for a
close above 2.815 to confirm a break of the 55-DMA and gain breathing room with
above 2.859 to shift focus higher. While 2.815 caps bears focus on 2.585-648
where the 100-DMA is noted with a close below 2.717 needed to add weight to
their case.
JGB TECHS: (M18) Supported On Dips
*RES 4: 151.19 - Monthly High Nov 22
*RES 3: 151.15 - 2018 High Mar 2
*RES 2: 151.09 - Bollinger band top
*RES 1: 151.06 - High Mar 12
*PRICE: 150.95 @ 2130GMT
*SUP 1: 150.90 - 21-DMA
*SUP 2: 150.80 - Hourly support Apr 2
*SUP 3: 150.70 - Low Apr 2
*SUP 4: 150.69 - 55-DMA
*COMMENTARY: The dip to start the new week found support ahead of the 55 &
200-DMAs following the dip below the 100-DMA (150.76) with gains Tuesday
confirming initial focus back on 150.15-21 where 2018 highs are noted. The
21-DMA is now initial support with bears now needing a close below to gain
breathing room and below 150.80 to shift focus back to 55 & 100-DMAs 150.63-69.
