AUSSIE 3-YR TECHS: (M18) Initial Focus Shifts To 97.745
*RES 4: 97.935 - High Mar 15
*RES 3: 97.929 - 200-DMA
*RES 2: 97.910 - High Mar 28
*RES 1: 97.860 - Hourly resistance Apr 3
*PRICE: 97.810 @ 2130GMT
*SUP 1: 97.787 - Bollinger band base
*SUP 2: 97.745 - Low Mar 21
*SUP 3: 97.705 - 2018 Low Jan 31
*SUP 4: 97.605 - 2015 Low Dec 15 2015
*COMMENTARY: Topside hesitation ahead of the 97.910-98.015 resistance region
where the 200-DMA, bear channel top and key WMAs are situated has taken its toll
with the break of 97.810 shifting initial focus to 97.745 and overall focus back
to 2018 lows. Bulls now need a close above 97.860 to gain breathing room and to
return focus to 97.910-999 where key WMA and DMAs are situated.
AUSSIE 10-YR TECHS: (M18) 97.3550 Resistance Key Today
*RES 4: 97.4657 - 100-WMA
*RES 3: 97.4400 - 2018 High Apr 3
*RES 2: 97.4000 - Hourly resistance Apr 3
*RES 1: 97.3550 - Low Apr 4 now resistance
*PRICE: 97.3000 @ 2130GMT
*SUP 1: 97.2915 - 200-DMA
*SUP 2: 97.2750 - Alternating hourly support/resistance
*SUP 3: 97.2121 - 55-DMA
*SUP 4: 97.1750 - Hourly resistance Feb 23 now support
*COMMENTARY: Topside follow through has been lacking on fresh 2018 & 3mth highs
with Wednesday's sell-off seeing focus back on layers of support 97.1750-2915
where key DMAs are noted. Bears now look for a close below 97.1750 to confirm
focus on 97.0450-0800 where 2018 lows are found. Bulls now need a close above
97.3550 to ease bearish pressure and above 97.4400 to confirm focus on
97.5000-5200.
US 10-YR FUTURE TECHS: (M18) Bears Need Close Below 120-11
*RES 4: 121-12 High Apr 3
*RES 3: 121-05 High Apr 4
*RES 2: 120-30+ Hourly resistance Apr 4
*RES 1: 120-23+ Hourly resistance Apr 5
*PRICE: 120-18+ @ 2130GMT
*SUP 1: 120-16+ 21-DMA
*SUP 2: 120-11 Low Mar 26 & 27
*SUP 3: 120-03 Low Mar 22
*SUP 4: 119-21+ Repeated Daily lows Feb
*COMMENTARY: A lack of follow through on the break of 121-09 sees pressure on
the 21-DMA as daily studies look to correct from O/B levels. Bears still need a
close below 120-11 to confirm a break of the 21-DMA (120-16+) & shift focus back
to 119-14/21+. Resistance layers are building and weighing with bulls needing a
close above 120-30+ to gain breathing room.
US 10-YR YIELD TECHS: O/S Studies Correcting
*RES 4: 2.957 - 2018 High Feb 21
*RES 3: 2.936 - High Feb 21
*RES 2: 2.889 - High Mar 22
*RES 1: 2.859 - High Mar 27
*PRICE: 2.834 @ 2130GMT
*SUP 1: 2.807 - 55-DMA
*SUP 2: 2.790 - High Apr 3 now support
*SUP 3: 2.772 - Hourly resistance Apr 4 now support
*SUP 4: 2.748 - Low Apr 4
*COMMENTARY: The recovery from the week's low sees a close above 21 (2.830) & 55
DMAs with bulls now needing a close above 2.859 to reconfirm focus on 2018
highs. Correcting O/S studies are well placed for a fresh leg higher as they
correct from O/S. Bears now need a close below 2.790 to ease pressure on
resistance layers and reconfirm initial focus on retests of 2.717 and overall
focus on 2.585-648 with the 100-DMA at 2.629.
JGB TECHS: (M18) Focus Back on 55 & 200-DMAs
*RES 4: 151.15 - 2018 High Mar 2
*RES 3: 151.06 - High Mar 12
*RES 2: 150.99 - High Apr 4
*RES 1: 150.88 - 21-DMA
*PRICE: 150.80 @ 2130GMT
*SUP 1: 150.71 - 55-DMA
*SUP 2: 150.70 - Low Apr 2
*SUP 3: 150.63 - 200-DMA
*SUP 4: 150.55 - Low Mar 2
*COMMENTARY: The contract remains a little heavy with hesitation ahead of 150.06
seeing focus return to 55 & 200-DMAs. bears look for a close below the 200-DMA
to hint at a move back to 2018 lows with below 150.55 to add weight to their
case. Bulls now need a close above the 21-DMA to ease bearish pressure and above
151.06 to initially target 150.15-21 where 2018 highs are noted.
