MNI BRIEF: RBA Keeps April 2024 Yield Target

SYDNEY (MNI)

The Reserve Bank of Australia has maintained its yield target program on government bonds maturing in April 2024 at Tuesday's Board meeting, deciding against extending the target out to November 2024.

The central bank has left official rates unchanged at a record low of 0.10%, and will continue with its bond buying program for longer dated bonds at the rate of AUD$4 billion per week "until at least mid-November."
