MNI BRIEF: BOJ's Hiroshima Promoted To International Dept Head

The Bank of Japan has promoted Tetsuya Hiroshima, deputy director-general at the bank's International Department, to director general of the department.

Hiroshima is a former senior secretary to the BOJ governor and had worked at the International Monetary Fund from June 2015 to May 2017.
