European Commission adopts a more flexible approach to payouts under the NGEU programme.

MNI (BRUSSELS) - Brussels is getting more flexible on payouts to member states under its EUR800bn NGEU pandemic recovery plan as the end-2026 deadline nears, the Commission's Annual Report on the Recovery and Resilience Facility shows.

The flexible use of targeted revisions to national recovery plans as circumstances change and the use of partial payments where some specific measures are not finalised is allowing for a sharp acceleration in disbursements.
