MNI BRIEF: Fed's Powell-Appropriate To Taper QT 'Fairly Soon'

Federal Reserve officials generally believe the time is coming to start reducing the pace of balance sheet shrinkage or quantitative tightening, Fed Chair Jerome Powell said Wednesday in opening remarks to his post-meeting press conference.
