MNI BRIEF: Ireland Household Borrowing Up In November

LONDON (MNI)

Net lending to Irish households rose modestly on a monthly basis in November, although annual lending is still down 0.1% y/y, the Central Bank of Ireland said Wednesday. Net lending stood at EUR72 million, which compares to net lending of EUR1.9 billion in November 2019.

Loans for home lending grew 0.8% on an annual basis in November, down from 1.8% a year earlier, the CBI said.
