MNI BRIEF: Unlikely ECB GenCo Members To Hold Bitcoin- Lagarde
MNI (LONDON) - European Central Bank President Christine Lagarde said on Thursday she was "confident " that no central bank which is a member of the ECB’s General Council would hold Bitcoin in their reserves.
In answer to a question as to whether the ECB would add Bitcoin to reserves, Lagarde downplayed the idea.
pointed appearing to note the Governor of the (CNB), who has been linked with comments suggesting he would be looking to diversify holdings into the cybercurrency.

The ECB's General Council includes all the member national banks of the euro area and the central banks of non-Eurozone EU members.
