Ex-Fed Economists On The US Inflation Outlook

BEIJING (MNI) - China and U.S. teams of negotiators are still working to
carry out the consensus by Presidents Xi Jinping and Donald Trump agreeing to
resolve the two sides' trade frictions, Ren Hongbin, assistant to the Minister
of Commerce, told reporters in Beijing.
Ren declined to comment directly on the progress of the trade talks.
"Appropriately responding to China-U.S. trade frictions" is one of the "top
of top priorities" of the ministry's work this year and an important political
task delegated by the central committee of the Communist Party, Ren said in
earlier remarks.
