MNI Data Survey: BOE Money and Credit; UK PMI & N'Wide HPI

     LONDON (MNI) - The MNI median points to an August recovery in UK net credit
to stg1.4 bn after dropping to stg0.8 bn in July. Mortgage approvals however are
expected to drop to 64,500 after reaching 64,800 in July. Net mortgage lending
however is expected to tick up to stg3.6 bn from stg3.2 bn previously.

     The UK September manufacturing PMI is expected to see a further drop from
August's near two-year low reading of 52.8. The MNI median points to a score of
52.5. The construction PMI which was previously 52.9 is expected to drop to
52.7. The UK's ever important services sector is expected to drop a touch to
54.0 but still remain at relatively high levels.
