     LONDON (MNI) - Thursday throws up a full data calendar, with German
inflation data the highlight of the morning session.
     The European calendar kicks off at 0600GMT, with the release of the GFK
Consumer Climate data.
     At 0645GMT, the latest French housing starts and permits data will be
published, followed by the Spanish retail sales and flash inflation data at
0700GMT.
     German state inflation data is also set for release through the morning,
with Saxony first up at 0700GMT.
     The German VDMA machine orders data will be released at 0800GMT. At the
same time, ECB Executive Board member Peter Praet will give the opening keynote
speech at TSI Congress 2017, in Berlin.
     At 0900GMT, the European Economic Sentiment Indicator and the EU consumer
and industrial sentiment indicators will be published.
     ECB Executive Board member Sabine Lautenschlaeger speech on at European
Supervisor Education Initiative (ESE) conference "Financial supervision - ready
for future challenges?", in Vienna AT 1110GMT.
     German federal inflation data will be published at 1200GMT.
     Across the Atlantic, the US jobless claims and the 3rd read of GDP are
expected at 1230GMT.
     Canadian payroll data will be published at the same time.
     Kansas City Federal Reserve Bank President Esther George to speak on The
U.S. Economy and Monetary Policy at the Banking and the Economy: A Forum for
Minority Bankers in Kansas City, with audience Q&A, starting at 1345GMT. Federal
Reserve Vice Chairman Stanley Fischer speaks at a Bank of England Independence
20 Years on Conference in London, audience and media Q&A, from 1400GMT.
     The latest Kansas City Fed Manufacturing Index is set for release at
1500GMT, with late data seeing US farm prices published at 1900GMT and the Fed
Weekly M2 Money Supply Data at 2030GMT.
