     LONDON (MNI) - A quiet Monday session means the three key releases are
December Germany construction orders at 0700GMT, January Spain producer price
index (PPI) at 0800GMT and December U.S. Wholesale Trade at 1500GMT. 
     Construction orders in Germany grew by 6.1% m/m in November. 
     In Spain, PPI rose 1.6% y/y and declined by 1.1% m/m in December. 
     Federal Reserve Vice Chairman Richard Clarida and Dallas Federal Reserve
Bank President Rob Kaplan speak at 1400GMT on a bus tour of southern Dallas. 
     In the US, wholesale inventories grew by 0.3% whereas wholesale sales
declined by 0.6% in November. 
     Clarida and Kaplan, speak again at 1500GMT, this time in a community
listening session at St. Philips Academy.
