MNI Global Morning Briefing: Empire Manufacturing To Turn Lower

Monday throws up a quiet start in Europe and the U.S. has only second tier releases, including the Empire manufacturing survey and the June TICS flows.

US Empire Manufacturing seen lower

The August manufacturing index is seen lower, as ongoing supply chain issues start to weigh on production. The index is seen at 30 this month, down sharply from July's 42.

Elsewhere, data released Monday includes the Canadian manufacturing sales and wholesale sales, both due at 1330 BST. The Canadian Real Estate Association will publish its latest resale data at 1400 BST.

Late US data sees the June TICS data released at 2100BST.
