MNI: PBOC Drained Net CNY100 Billion on Monday

     BEIJING (MNI) - People's Bank of China skipped its open market operations
on Monday "to maintain a reasonable stability of liquidity in the banking
system", according to an announcement by the PBOC. 
     It resulted in a net drain of CNY100 billion as CNY100 billion in reverse
repos matures today. 
       - CFETS-ICAP's money-market sentiment index closed at 42 last Friday, up
from 50 on Tuesday.
  - Benchmark 7-day deposit repo average fell to 2.6500% today from 2.9150% last
