MNI: PBOC Skips OMO, Leaves Liquidity Unchanged

     BEIJING (MNI) - The PBOC skipped open market operations on Thursday, which
left liquidity unchanged as no reverse repos matured today, according to Wind
Information. The central bank said liquidity in the banking system is at a
relatively high level to absorb the impact of government bond issuance and other
factors.
  - This is the seventh straight trading day that the PBOC has skipped OMOs; 
  - Benchmark 7-day deposit repo average increased to 2.6412% on Thursday from
2.5934% on Wednesday: Wind Information;
  - CFETS-ICAP's money-market sentiment index closed at 36 on Wednesday, up from
34 on Tuesday.
