--Conference To Set China's 2019 National Economic Agenda
     BEIJING (MNI) - China's annual Central Economic Work Conference is expected
to start on Friday, Dec 14, a source close to the government told MNI. 
     The close-door meeting will be presided over by the Communist Party General
Secretary, President Xi Jinping, will last four days through Monday, the source
said. 
     The conference is the annual meeting where policymakers sets the national
agenda for Chinese economy for the coming year.
     China will hold a national celebration on Tuesday, Dec 18, marking the 40th
anniversary of China's reform and opening-up policy, the source also noted.
