MNI POLICY: China H2 Growth to Be More Dynamic: Vice Premier

CHINA

China's growth in Q3 and Q4 is likely to be more dynamic with strong momentum as the post-pandemic recovery continues to improve, said Vice Premier Liu He on Monday. China will promote entrepreneurship, prevent moral hazards that encourage excessive risk-taking, and encourage companies to obtain competitive advantages, Liu said in a speech at the launch of the restructured ChiNext exchange, the so-called Chinese Nasdaq, which was published by China Securities Regulatory Commission. ChiNext's daily movement limit is set at 20%, double those of other Chinese exchanges, and the vetting for initial offerings is also significantly less stringent as policy makers hope to accelerate the development of hi-tech companies and counter U.S. attempts to shut out China's access to its technologies and market, MNI noted - on MNI Policy Main Wire and email now - for more details please contact sales@marketnews.com.
