  • The RBNZ played the straightest bat on Wednesday, keeping all monetary policy settings unchanged, reaffirming its "least regrets," "wait-and-see" approach, and signalling readiness to lower the OCR if needed. The statement was largely a replay of February's rhetoric, with the MPC noting that risks to the outlook are balanced and warning that achieving policy objectives will take some time.
