MNI: The Asia-Pacific time zone is experiencing a modest risk on feel,
discounting Monday's late story focused on U.S.-China trade worries, as BBG ran
headlines noting that the U.S. is planning tariffs on all remaining Chinese
imports if Trump-Xi talks, scheduled for next month, fail.
- Subsequent reports from Fox were run re: White House unaware of any new
developments pertaining to the BBG story.
- The Nikkei 225 has added 0.5%, while USD/JPY trades 15 pips higher at Y112.50.
Elsewhere, USD/KRW is unchanged/a touch softer, with T-Notes operating at
session lows, 3 ticks lower than settlement. U.S. index futures trade marginally
higher.
