MNI UK Data Survey: Dec UK Public Sector Finances

     LONDON (MNI) - On the UK data front, the current week will be the busiest
since welcoming in the New Year. Updates on the status of public sector
borrowing will arrive Tuesday detailing public sector finances data from
December - the ninth month of the 2017/18 fiscal year. 
     Our preliminary survey of analysts generates a median stg5.0bn public
sector net borrowing excluding-banks balance for December, in line with the
outturn delivered the in same month in 2016. An equal number saw borrowing
coming in either side of the stg5.0bn-mark, with a high of stg6.0bn and low of
stg4.5bn.
