     LONDON (MNI) - Across the Atlantic the first release from the US is the MBA
Weekly Applications Index at 0700ET.
     At 0800ET preliminary German HICP figures will hit the wires.
     The secondary reading of US GDP is due at 0830ET. Third quarter GDP is
expected to be revised up to 3.3% rate of growth from the 3.0% preliminary
estimate, with the key factor being stronger PCE growth than in the advance
estimate. The chain price index is expected to be unrevised at a 2.2% pace of
growth.
     Also at 0830ET markets will get comments from New York Federal Reserve Bank
President William Dudley who will participate in a moderated discussion at
"Rutgers Fireside Chat" in New Brunswick, New Jersey, with audience Q&A.
     Bank of England Governor Mark Carney will deliver a speech in London. This
will be followed by a speech from Bank of England Deputy Governor Dave Ramsden
at 0930ET.
     At 1000ET US NAR Pending Home Sales are scheduled alongside testimony from
FOMC Chair Janet Yellen in front of the Joint Economic Committee in Washington.
     Weekly DoE Crude Oil Stocks data will be released at 1030ET.
     At 1200ET ECB Gov. Council member Jens Weidmann gives a speech at RWI
Business Talk 2017, in Essen, Germany.
     San Francisco Federal Reserve Bank President John Williams is to give
keynote address at the 54th Annual Economic Forecast Luncheon Sponsored by
Arizona State University in Phoenix, Arizona, with audience Q&A at 1350ET.
     Rounding off the day at 1400ET the FOMC will release their latest Beige
Book update.
