US 5-YR FUTURE TECHS: (Z17) Bears Need Close Below 117-090

*RES 4: 117-212 - High Oct 4 

*RES 3: 117-180 - High Oct 5 

*RES 2: 117-160 - High Oct 10 

*RES 1: 117-122 - Hourly support Oct 10 now resistance

*PRICE: 117-112 @ 0930GMT

*SUP 1: 117-090 - Hourly support Oct 9

*SUP 2: 117-037 - Bollinger band base

*SUP 3: 117-035 - Low July 7

*SUP 4: 116-142 - Daily Bear channel base

*COMMENTARY: Pressure has returned to the 117-090 support following the failure

at 117-160 Tuesday. Bulls now need a close above 117-212 to confirm a break of

the 21-DMA (117-210) and shift focus to the 117-290/118-010 region where 100

(117-290) & 55 (118-002) DMAs are located. The 117-090 support remains key with

bears needing a close below to retain control and remain focused on the bear

channel base.

US 10-YR FUTURE TECHS: (Z17) 125-140/230 Resistance Key This Week

*RES 4: 125-230 - Low Sept 25 now resistance 

*RES 3: 125-200 - 21-DMA 

*RES 2: 125-190 - High Oct 4 

*RES 1: 125-140 - High Oct 5 & 10

*PRICE: 125-070 @ 0930GMT

*SUP 1: 124-310 - Hourly support Oct 9

*SUP 2: 124-232 - Bollinger band base

*SUP 3: 124-220 - Low Oct 6

*SUP 4: 124-140 - Monthly Lows July 6 & 7

*COMMENTARY: The lack of downside follow-through on fresh 3mth lows Friday was a

concern for bears and has resulted in a correction back to layers of resistance

125-140/230. Bulls continue to look for a close above 125-230 to initially

target tests of 126-030/090. Layers of support remain with bears still needing a

close below 124-310 to end correction talk and maintain initial bearish focus on

124-140 July lows.

US 30-YR FUTURE TECHS: (Z17) Capped Ahead Of Key Resistance Region

*RES 4: 153-16 - Low Sept 20 now resistance 

*RES 3: 153-08 - High Oct 4 

*RES 2: 153-02 - High Oct 10 

*RES 1: 152-14 - Hourly support Oct 10 now resistance

*PRICE: 152-12 @ 0930GMT

*SUP 1: 152-02 - Hourly support Oct 11

*SUP 2: 151-27 - Hourly support Oct 9

*SUP 3: 151-10 - Bollinger band base

*SUP 4: 151-07 - Low July 7

*COMMENTARY: Bears take comfort in the failure to trouble the key 153-08/154-02

region where key DMAs are clustered with the correction lower seeing focus back

on 151-27/152-02. Overall bulls need a close above 154-02 to end bearish hopes

and initially target 155-04/155-18. Initial support is noted at 152-02 but bears

still need a close below 151-27 to retain focus on 149-08/150-11 where July lows

and the bear channel base are located.

US EURODOLLAR TECHS: (Z17) 98.495 Key Today

*RES 4: 98.545 - High Sept 20 

*RES 3: 98.525 - Repeated daily highs Sept 

*RES 2: 98.516 - 200-DMA 

*RES 1: 98.495 - High Oct 6

*PRICE: 98.485 @ 0930GMT

*SUP 1: 98.470 - Low Apr 24

*SUP 2: 98.445 - Low Apr 10

*SUP 3: 98.425 - Low Mar 31

*SUP 4: 98.394 - Daily Bear channel base

*COMMENTARY: The contract is currently flirting with the bear channel top

(98.478) with bulls now looking for a close above 98.495 to confirm a break and

shift focus to 98.516-525 where 21 & 200-DMAs are situated. Overall a close

above 98.565 is needed to end bearish hopes and target 98.595-98.635. Bears

remain focused on 98.394-425 where the daily bear channel base is noted and look

for a close below 98.470 to add weight to their case.
