US 5-YR FUTURE TECHS: (Z17) Capped Ahead Of Key Resistance
*RES 4: 117-255 - High Sept 27
*RES 3: 117-212 - High Oct 4
*RES 2: 117-182 - 21-DMA
*RES 1: 117-180 - Hourly support Oct 13 now resistance
*PRICE: 117-165 @ 0930GMT
*SUP 1: 117-150 - High Oct 12 now support
*SUP 2: 117-110 - Low Oct 13
*SUP 3: 117-090 - Low Oct 9
*SUP 4: 117-062 - Bollinger band base
*COMMENTARY: The 117-090 level supported last week and provided the base for a
rally back towards the key 117-212 resistance only to remain capped. Bulls
continue to look for a close above 117-212 to confirm a break of the 21-DMA and
shift focus to the 117-280/118-010 region where 100 (117-280) & 55 (117-317)
DMAs are located. The 117-150 support is key today. Bears need a close below to
return immediate pressure to 117-090.
US 10-YR FUTURE TECHS: (Z17) Bulls Focused On 125-290/126-090
*RES 4: 126-032 - 55-DMA
*RES 3: 125-300 - 100-DMA
*RES 2: 125-255 - High Oct 13
*RES 1: 125-220 - Hourly resistance Oct 16
*PRICE: 125-200 @ 0930GMT
*SUP 1: 125-180 - Hourly support Oct 13
*SUP 2: 125-150 - Hourly resistance Oct 13 now support
*SUP 3: 125-100 - Low Oct 13
*SUP 4: 125-050 - Hourly support Oct 11
*COMMENTARY: The close above the 21-DMA (125-160) Friday sees bulls now focused
on the 125-290/090 region where 55 & 100-DMAs are situated after correcting O/S
studies provided support last week. Layers of support are accumulating and also
adding to bullish confidence. Bears now look for a close below 125-150 to ease
renewed bullish pressure and below 125-100 to shift focus back to 124-220.
US 30-YR FUTURE TECHS: (Z17) Bulls Need Close Above 55-DMA
*RES 4: 156-07 - Low Sept 6 now resistance
*RES 3: 155-04 - High Sept 25
*RES 2: 154-06 - 55-DMA
*RES 1: 154-05 - High Oct 13
*PRICE: 153-26 @ 0930GMT
*SUP 1: 153-21 - 100-DMA
*SUP 2: 153-09 - 21-DMA
*SUP 3: 152-30 - Low Oct 13
*SUP 4: 152-09 - Hourly support Oct 11
*COMMENTARY: Gains last week resulted in closes above 21 & 100-DMAs Friday and
the contract pressuring the 55-DMA. Bulls now need a close above the 55-DMA to
confirm focus on 155-04/155-18. Bears now look for a close below the 100-DMA to
ease bullish pressure and below 152-30 to confirm a break of the 21-DMA and to
shift focus back to retests of Oct lows.
US EURODOLLAR TECHS: (Z17) 98.495 Now Key Support
*RES 4: 98.544 - 55-DMA
*RES 3: 98.525 - Repeated daily highs Sept
*RES 2: 98.516 - 200-DMA
*RES 1: 98.510 - High Oct 13
*PRICE: 98.500 @ 0930GMT
*SUP 1: 98.495 - High Oct 6 now support
*SUP 2: 98.470 - Low Apr 24
*SUP 3: 98.445 - Low Apr 10
*SUP 4: 98.425 - Low Mar 31
*COMMENTARY: The break of the daily bear channel top gained momentum Friday with
the break and close above 98.495 seeing focus shift to 98.516-525 where the
200-DMA is found. Above 98.525 is then needed to pressure 98.544-565 where 55 &
100-DMAs are located. The 98.495 support is now key. Bears need a close below
this level to ease bullish pressure and return focus to 98.470.
